Awkwafina

Awkwafina is an American actor and musician who started her career by performing clever rappers, which explored issues of race and sexual identity with an edgy and humorous perspective. Her career then grew to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Koreans living in Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was through the instrument of trumpet. Also, she received Jazz and classical training before exploring hip-hop in her teenager. While in college, she remained focused in her studies, pursuing a degree in women's journalism and the arts. For a brief period that was spent in Beijing and she also took classes in Mandarin. After graduation, she began to devote her time to music. After gaining viral fame via the Internet and her own My Vag song My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually made its way onto her album debut Yellow Ranger. The album also included songs that were viral such as body positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown NYC Bitche$. This song was also featured as part of Awkwafina's NYC travel guide, published in the year 2015. She decided to pursue acting career following her completion of two ventures as a musician and author. She's appeared in movies like Neighbors 2 Storks, and Bad Rap. She made her debut in 2018 and appeared in several high profile films, including Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she published the EP in Fina We Trust.
