Kellie Martin is an American actor and actress on television and film. She is best known for her roles in the roles of Christy Huddleston on the historical drama'Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the Life Goes On, a family-oriented drama The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series 'ER'. Her other notable roles include being the main character in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin's acting career started at age seven, when an aunt the former nanny who took care her children Michael Landon, helped secure the role of a guest in 1982's 'Father Murphy.' After graduating from Yale University, she took acting seriously and was able to land significant roles both on the small and the large screen. Martin, who is an actress in addition to a gifted dancer and photographer, has been in the business for more than twenty years. Two daughters are hers Martin is the Lupus ambassador and has been spreading awareness of the disease daily since the loss of her sister at age 19.
